At Ver-El Mobile Village we’ve been catering to NASCAR fans since the first NASCAR race was held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in 1960. Our family has always lived and worked in the heart of NASCAR country and we strive to make our facility as family friendly as possible.
We are conveniently located across the street, approximately 100 yards, from the main ticket office of the speedway. We are 10 miles from I-77, 2 miles from I-85 (exit 49) and 3 miles from I-485.
We are located about 15 miles from where the Democratic National Convention will be held in September 2012 so book early!
We began building our campground and parking facilities in the late 60’s with all dry camping sites and gravel parking lots. In the mid 70’s we completed our vending facilities which attract a variety of corporate and independent vendors. In the early 90’s, and with the onset of night racing, we began to upgrade our vending, camping and parking facilities, with lighted and full service sites.
Today all of our camping facilities are full service sites located on grass surfaces and well lit for night events. Our corporate and independent vending sites offer electric and water services with paved road frontages and our auto parking lots offer easy access to major roadways for those looking for quick exits. Our facilities here at Ver-El Mobile Village are open year round which makes us the ideal stopping over point for those traveling up and down the East Coast from Canada to Florida.
We offer a variety of off season and special event rates for those staying daily, weekly or monthly. During major events such as NASCAR, NHRA, World of Outlaws and Auto Fairs we offer many amenities and services in hopes to make your stay at Ver-El Mobile Village a memorable one “because here is where friends become family”.
